The Florida Panthers have officially placed defenseman Mike Reilly on waivers today.
Sounds like the #FlaPanthers have placed Mike Reilly on waivers.
Florida will be at 22 players on the roster when that goes down.

Reilly has suited up for two games with the Panthers on their third defensive pairing. The Chicago, Illinois product signed a one-year $1 million contract with the Panthers during the summer.
Last season, Reilly played 10 games with the Boston Bruins, where he had one assist. He played 36 games in the American Hockey League with the Providence Bruins, with seven goals, 19 assists, and 26 points. He also got into one playoff game with them, where he was held pointless as Providence lost in four games in the division semifinals to the Hartford Wolf Pack.
On June 30th, the Bruins bought out Reilly of his contract. He had one year remaining on a three-year contract with a $3 million cap hit, a deal he signed with the Bruins in the 2021 offseason after being dealt to Boston at the prior trade deadline.
Reilly was a fourth-round draft pick of the Columbus Blue Jackets in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft, but decided to go the college route and became a free agent afterward, ultimately signing with the Minnesota Wild. After struggling a bit with the Wild and the Montreal Canadiens, he found life with the Ottawa Senators, including a career year in 2020-21 that saw him tally 27 points in 55 games.
