Report: Logan Brown to sign PTO with Tampa Bay Lightning
As Andy Strickland has reported, forward Logan Brown will join the Tampa Bay Lightning on a player tryout agreement.
Brown has been skating and training in Toronto with St. Louis Blues forward Jordan Kyrou. The 26-year-old signed a one-year deal with the Bolts last summer but never suited up for a game due to injuries.

— Andy Strickland (@andystrickland) August 15, 2024Brown last played in the NHL during the 2022-23 season with St. Louis where he had two goals, four assists and six points in 33 games. Brown was oringally selected No. 11 overall by the Ottawa Senators in 2016 and spent his first four pro seasons with the Sens before he was dealt to the Blues as part of the return for Zach Sanford.
Brown has seven goals and 19 assists for 26 points in 99 games over seven years with the Senators and Blues and has also appeared in 115 American Hockey League (AHL) games with the Belleville Senators and Springfield Thunderbirds where he racked up 29 goals an 69 assists for 98 points.
The Raleigh, North Carolina product spent four seasons in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) with the Windsor Spitfires and Kitchener Rangers. Brown captured a Memorial Cup in 2016-17 with the Spitfires. Throughout his OHL tenure, he tallied 74 goals and 131 assists for 205 points in 182 games. Brown has also won bronze at the U-18 World Championship and U-20 World Juniors with USA.
