The San Jose Sharks announced Friday that general manager is taking a leave of absence due to medical reasons. 



Wilson, 64, is taking a day-to-day temporary leave, the club said.

In the interim, the club’s assistant general manager Joe Will will be handling day-to-day operations of the club.
