Seattle Kraken defenseman Adam Larsson exits game with undisclosed injury
The Seattle Kraken announced that defensemen Adam Larsson would not return to Saturday’s game versus the Edmonton Oilers with an undisclosed injury.
Larsson logged 12:03 of ice time and 16 shifts while making one hit.
Larsson exited the game following the second period. Edmonton won the game 4-2.

The 32-year-old has one-year left on his current deal with a cap hit of $4 million. His new deal, which kicks in with the 2025-26 season, holds an AAV of $5.25 million over the next four seasons.
Larsson spent the 2023-24 campaign with the Kraken, his third season with the club and donned the assistant captaincy. The 31-year-old racked up four goals and 14 assists for 18 points in 81 regular season games while adding 162 hits, and a plus-6 rating, ranking fourth among Kraken defensemen.
The Skelleftea, Sweden product was originally selected No. 4 overall in the 2011 NHL Draft by the New Jersey Devils and spent his first five NHL seasons in Newark before being dealt to the Edmonton Oilers for Taylor Hall. Larsson spent five years with Edmonton before being picked up by Seattle upon entering the league as the 32nd expansion club.
Through 14 seasons, Larsson has appeared in 887 games tallying 46 goals and 174 assists for 220 points. He has appeared in 38 Stanley Cup Playoff contests, tallying 13 points.
The Kraken are currently sixth in the Pacific Division with a 17-20-3 record through 40 games. Seattle is slated to face the New Jersey Devils on Monday, the Columbus Blue Jackets on Thursday, the Buffalo Sabres on Saturday and the Detroit Red Wings on Sunday in action this week.
