The Seattle Kraken reportedly plan to select defenceman Carson Soucy from the Minnesota Wild.
As first reported by Daily Faceoff’s Frank Seravalli, it appears the young rearguard is destined for a new home.

Standing at 6’5′, 211 lbs, Soucy has played in 108 NHL games over the past three seasons scoring eight goals and 31 points. Drafted by Minnesota in the 5th round of the 2013 draft, Soucy developed in the NCAA and in the AHL before joining the big club.
According to hockeyviz.com, Soucy provided EV offence at a four percent rate below league average and EV defence at a six percent rate above league average.
