Seattle Kraken sign Kole Lind to one-year, two-way contract
Seattle Kraken general manager Ron Francis announced that the club has signed Kole Lind to a one-year, two-way contract. According to CapFriendly, the contract will have an average annual value (AAV) of $775,000.

Lind spent the 2022-23 season with the Kraken’s American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the Coachella Valley Firebirds, where he registered a career-high 30 goals and 32 assists for 62 points in 72 games. Lind’s 30 goals led all Firebirds skaters; he ranked second among points trailing just five points behind Max McCormick. He added nine goals and 22 assists for 31 points in 26 games as the Firebirds reached the Calder Cup Final. Lind led all AHL players in points in the playoffs.
The Shaunavon, Saskatchewan product was selected No. 33 overall by the Vancouver Canucks in the 2017 NHL Draft. Lind spent four seasons with the Kelowna Rockets in the Western Hockey League (WHL), appearing in 204 games and collecting 83 goals and 141 assists for 224 points. He added 23 points in 44 WHL postseason contests. During the 2014-15 WHL rookie season, Lind won the Ed Chynoweth Trophy as WHL Champions with the Rockets. Lind represented Team WHL at the CHL/Russia Jr. Super Series in 2017-18, collecting two goals and three points in two games.
Lind made his AHL debut in 2017-18 with the Utica Comets, appearing in six games, notching one assist. He found a regular role in the Comets’ lineup the following season. Lind made his NHL debut in 2020-21 with the Canucks where he appeared in seven games. In 2021, he signed a one-year contract with the Kraken. During the 2021-22 campaign, Lind appeared in 23 games, registering two goals and six assists for eight points.
