Seattle Kraken unveil pre-season schedule

The Seattle Kraken has unveiled the first time we’ll get a look at the league’s newest team.

The Kraken will take to WHL arenas across Washington State for the first six games in club history allowing game one of the regular season to be the first game played at the Climate Pledge Arena.

Home games will be played on Sept. 26 (against Vancouver in Spokane), Oct. 1 (against Edmonton in Everett), and Oct. 2 (against Calgary in Kent).

“The arena is on track to open mid-October for our inaugural regular season game,” said Tod Leiweke, Kraken CEO, “but we have made the decision to play our three inaugural preseason games at three outstanding local arenas … We couldn’t be more excited for these games and then to open Climate Pledge Arena.”
