Blues sign Adam Jecho, Lukas Fischer to entry-level contracts

The St. Louis Blues announced Tuesday that the club has signed center Adam Jecho and defenseman Lukas Fischer to three-year, entry-level contracts.
Originally chosen 95th overall by the Blues in the 2024 NHL Draft, Jecho has spent the past two seasons with the WHL’s Edmonton Oil Kings. Through 56 appearances in 2024-25, Jecho has posted 25 goals and 28 assists to sit fourth in team scoring with 53 points. In all, through 110 career contests with the Oil Kings, Jecho has collected 48 goals and 52 assists for 100 points.
The 18-year-old Czech-born forward has also seen success in international competition including a bronze medal win at the 2025 World Juniors where through seven outings he finished fourth in team scoring with point-per-game production counting two goals and five assists. Jecho also joined the Czechs at the 2024 IIHF Under-18 World Championship where through five games he scored twice and added an assist for three points to be recognized as a top-three player for Czechia.
For Fischer, the budding blue-liner has spent the past three seasons with the OHL’s Sarnia Sting. This season, through 51 outings, Fischer has tallied 15 goals and 22 assists to sit seventh in team scoring and second among defensemen with a career-high 37 points. Fischer has also registered a minus-19 rating alongside a team-leading 81 penalty minutes. In all, through three seasons with the Sting, the 6-foot-3 rearguard has racked up 24 goals and 57 assists for 81 points through 166 total appearances. Prior to joining the Sting, Fischer also made a brief appearance with the USHL’s Cedar Rapids RoughRigers where through four appearances during the 2022-23 campaign he finished with one assist and two penalty minutes.
An 18-year-old native of Pontiac, Mich., Fischer was originally chosen 56th overall by the Blues in the 2024 NHL Draft.
