The St. Louis Blues have signed Scott Harrington, Matthew Peca, Nikita Alexandrov and Sam Bitten to player tryout agreements (PTO) ahead of the 2024-25 training camp.

Harrington spent the 2023-24 season with the ZSC Lions in the Swiss National League where he tallied four points in 14 games. He added two points in six postseason contests. Harrington last played in the NHL during the 2022-23 season split between the San Jose Sharks and Anaheim Ducks. He was sent to the New Jersey Devils as one of the nine players involved in the Timo Meier trade, and then claimed on waivers by the Ducks just two days later. The 31-year-old has tallied 49 points in 255 NHL games with the Pittsburgh Penguins, Toronto Maple Leafs, Columbus Blue Jackets, Sharks and Ducks.

Peca spent the 2023-24 season with the Blues AHL affiliate the Springfield Thunderbirds where the captain notched 41 points in 48 games. Peca has almost three straight seasons putting up a point-per-game in the AHL. The last time the 31-year-old suited up in the NHL was during the 2021-22 campaign with St. Louis where he tallied one assist in five games.

Alexandrov spent the 2023-24 season as well with Springfield where he tallied seven points in seven games. The 24-year-old appeared in 23 games with St. Louis registering two assists. Alexandrov struggled with injuries throughout the year which resulted in his lack of ice time.

Bitten spent the 2023-24 season with Springfield, tallying 17 goals and 33 points in 68 games. Bitten is currently signed and playing for Spartak Moskva in the KHL in Russia and has tallied two points in five games.
