Stars’ Mason Marchment returns to lineup tonight vs. Avalanche
News out of the morning skate in Dallas indicates that forward Mason Marchement will return to the lineup tonight for Game 2 vs. Colorado Avalanche.
Marchment has been out of the lineup since Game 2 vs. Vegas Golden Knights. He has one goal in two Stanley Cup Playoff contests.

The 28-year-old notched a career-high 22 goals and 31 assists for 53 points in 81 games. in what was his second season down in Texas. On July 13, 2022, the Stars signed Marchment to a four-year contract carrying a $4.5 million annual cap hit.
Marchment began his pro career in the Toronto Maple Leafs organization, starting out with the American Hockey League’s (AHL) Toronto Marlies late in the 2015–16 season before appearing in four games with the Leafs in 2019–20. Marchment was then dealt to the Florida Panthers where he exploded registering 18 goals and 47 points in 54 games during the 2021-22 season.
Through 240 career NHL games with the Maple Leafs, Panthers, and Stars, Marchment has collected 54 goals and 88 assists for 142 points.
Meanwhile, Radek Faksa will be held out of the lineup while Marchment draws in.
