The Vancouver Canucks’ under the radar players could have series-changing impact
The Vancouver Canucks are slated to face off against the Nashville Predators in the opening round of the 2024 Stanley Cup Playoffs. While the focus is on Elias Pettersson, Brock Boeser, Quinn Hughes and the big guns in Vancouver, there are a few under-the-radar players who could have series-changing impacts.
Today on Daily Faceoff Live, Frank Seravalli and Colby Cohen discuss which Canucks players can fit that mould.
Colby Cohen: Let me ask you a question, are you concerned at all with Noah Juulsen in the playoffs, or Mark Friedman and Carson Soucy in the playoffs? No disrespect but these aren’t household names, does that concern you at all?
Frank Seravalli: Yeah, they’re not household names. But if you watched Juulsen this season you’d know he had a pretty good year and some of their other x-factors in their lineup. We have a sleep story coming out on DailyFaceoff.com about under-the-radar guys, not headline-attention-grabbing guys and the Canucks have Dakota Johsua who could be a big player for them. They got Soucy, he’s dealt with injuries but is a big guy who I think can be impactful. You look at the rest of their group with guys like Ian Cole who has been proven to be a playoff performer and Teddy Blueger down there too. I like the depth and what they bring to the table.
