Top remaining restricted free agents: The best 2024 RFAs still on the board

Remember how crazy July 1 was? A total of 185 deals were signed for more than $1.2 billion, marking one of the wildest starts to the open market ever seen in NHL history.
But things have quieted down for the most part since then, and that includes on the restricted free agent mark. Right now, the significantly better unsigned players lie there, with teams retaining the rights to these players via qualifying offers earlier this summer.
For about 30 young, talented pros, they’re hoping for a bit of a raise in their RFA years before, in many cases, chasing bigger bucks as a UFA later on.
Using projections from consulting firm AFP Analytics, here’s a look at what the restricted free agent market looks like:
