USA announces roster for 2025 4 Nations Face-Off

We know the troops that will be representing the red, white and blue in a couple of months.

On Wednesday, Team USA announced its roster for the inaugural 4 Nations Face-Off.

In June, the first six players were announced, headlined by reigning Rocket Richard Trophy winner, and Toronto Maple Leafs captain Auston Matthews. He powers an offensive unit flanked by former USNTDP teammate Matthew Tkachuk (Florida Panthers), with Adam Fox (New York Rangers) and Charlie McAvoy (Boston Bruins) also from that stacked 2014-15 Under-18 squad also playing in the 4 Nations.

Matthew will have a chance to play with his younger brother, Ottawa Senators captain Brady Tkachuk. It will be the first time the sons of Keith Tkachuk will play alongside each other in an organized competition. Along with the likes of Jack Hughes (New Jersey Devils) and Jack Eichel (Vegas Golden Knights), the Americans are going to have plenty of offensive weapons at their disposal.

Winnipeg Jets goaltender Connor Hellebuyck, to no one’s surprise, has been named to the United States’ roster, and is expected to be the No. 1 netminder when the puck drops in February. He is going to be backed up by Jeremy Swayman (Bruins) and Jake Oettinger (Dallas Stars), guys who are no slouches by any stretch despite some bumps in the road early on this season.
