Utah Hockey Club sign Vladislav Kolyachonok to two-year contract

The Utah Hockey Club has signed defenseman Vladislav Kolyachonok to a two-year two-way contract extension, the club announced Tuesday afternoon.

Kolyachonok’s deal will have an average annual value (AAV) of $775,000.

Kolyachonok appeared in five games with the Arizona Coyotes during the 2023-24 NHL season, he tallied one goal and three assists for four points in that frame. He primarily spent time with their American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate the Tuscon Roadrunners where he registered eight goals and 11 points in 36 games. Kolyachonok appeared in two Calder Cup Playoff contests with the Roadrunners.

The Minsk, Belarus product has appeared in 39 games over parts of three seasons with Arizona, tallying two goals and seven points in that frame. Most of his time has been spent in the minors, where he has racked up 150 games 13 goals and 35 assists for 48 points.

Kolyachonok was oringally selected No. 52 overall by the Florida Panthers. Prior to his pro career, Kolyachonok spent time in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) with the London Knights and Flint Firebirds. He collected 63 points in 107 OHL games. Kolyachonok also spent time in the KHL with Dinamo Minsk during the 2020-21 season.
