It has been a fun and exhilarating series between the Vegas Golden Knights and the Minnesota Wild, with the Golden Knights having a chance to get the job done on Thursday night if their big guns can get the job done.

After losing back-to-back games to the Wild, Vegas has responded with back-to-back overtime wins. However, the top line for the Pacific Division champions has been inconsistent thus far. The line of Jack Eichel, William Karlsson and Mark Stone did make an impact in Game 5, with Stone and Karlsson each scoring. However, the trio has been pretty quiet for most of the series. Eichel has just three points in the series, with Stone and Karlsson also having just two points apiece.

If the Golden Knights want to move further into the postseason, they need to find a way to get their top line going. Especially given that the Wild’s stars, Kirill Kaprizov and Matt Boldy, have been performing at a high level to give the Wild Card team a chance to pull off the upset.

On Thursday’s edition of Daily Faceoff LIVE, Frank Seravalli explains why the top stars for Vegas need to be ready to go if the team wants to punch its ticket to Round 2.

Frank Seravalli: Jack Eichel finally got a couple of points in the last game, the first multi-point game of the playoffs. They got some luck and some help with the offside challenge that kind of saved their season, so to speak, because it was probably over at that point in time. Now, with that new life, will they take advantage and put the dagger to the Wild? Because they’re a tough out. It’s a physical, big, nasty team to play against. They’ve also had their top-end talent, quite frankly, be way better than the Vegas Golden Knights in this series.
