Wild’s Jonas Brodin, Mats Zuccarello expected to return against Flyers
Minnesota Wild defenseman Jonas Brodin was activated off injured reserve (IR) and forward Mats Zuccarello has been activated off long-term injured reserve (LTIR), and both players are expected to be available Saturday afternoon when the Wild play the Philadelphia Flyers.

Brodin has been out of the lineup since Nov. 25. So far this season, the 31-year-old has two goals and six assists for eight points while averaging 22:08 in 19 games.
Now in his 13th NHL campaign, Brodin has 56 goals and 192 assists for 248 points in 822 career regular-season games. Taken No. 10 overall in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft, Brodin made the NHL’s All-Rookie Team in 2012-13.
Meanwhile, Zuccarello has been out of the lineup since Nov. 14. He has been one of the Wild’s most productive forwards, recording six goals and eight assists for 14 points while averaging 17:26 of ice time in 16 games.
The 37-year-old Zuccarello is now in his 15th NHL season. Since joining the league in 2010, Zuccarello has scored 204 goals and 446 assists for 650 points in 851 career regular-season games with the Wild, Dallas Stars and New York Rangers. Before joining the NHL, Zucarrello played for Modo Hockey in the Swedish Elite League, winning the annual Golden Helmet awarded to the most valuable player.
The Wild are 19-6-4 for 42 points and 6-3-1 in their last 10 games. Going into Saturday’s slate of games, Minnesota is second in the Central Division behind the Winnipeg Jets and third in the entire NHL.
Forward Kirill Kaprizov leads the club in all offensive categories with 18 goals, 25 assists and 43 points.
