With a 5-2 win over the Calgary Flames, the Winnipeg Jets became the latest team to clinch a spot in the 2024 Stanley Cup Playoffs.

The Jets now join the Dallas Stars, Colorado Avalanche, Vancouver Canucks, Boston Bruins, Florida Panthers, New York Rangers and Carolina Hurricanes as teams who have clinched a playoff spot, as of April 4.

Mark Schifele leads the team in scoring with 23 goals and 43 assists for 66 points. Defenseman Josh Morrissey is second on the team with nine goals and 54 assists for 63 points.

Goaltender Connor Hellebuyck has a 32-19-4 with a .920 SV% with a 2.42 GAA. The 30-year-old netminder is one of the favorites to win the Veznia Trophy.

With six games to go, the Jets will try to climb ahead of the Colorado Avalanche, who have 102 points, for home-ice advantage. They play the Minnesota Wild on Saturday afternoon, then the Nashville Predators on the road this Tuesday. They follow that with games against the Stars, the Avalanche, the Seattle Kraken and close out with the Canucks on April 18.
