Zamboni driver dressed as kangaroo arrested for resurfacing ice under the influence
Well, here is something you don’t see every day.
On Monday in western Quebec, a 25-year-old was arrested on suspicion of impaired driving while operating an ice resurfacer.
Police in the area of Chelsea, PQ, a suburb of Gatineau, say the driver of the machine was arrested after he drove, at a low speed, into the boards at a rink while cleaning the ice between two games.
A viral 30-second video shows a referee following alongside the ice resurfacer and driver as the machine goes straight into the corner boards.
To add insult to the embarrassment, the driver was wearing, of all things and for unknown reasons, a kangaroo costume.

Fournel also stated that police gave the man a sobriety test before arresting the rink employee. The culprit was released on a promise that he would appear in court at a later date.
A police report says nobody was hurt, but a door in the rink was damaged as a result of the event.
