Brown did not do much in his first regular season with the Oilers, posting just four goals and eight assists (12 points) in 71 games. However, he was much more noticeable during their run to the Stanley Cup Final, posting two goals and four assists (six points) in 19 playoff games. Expect him to be used in the bottom-6 and on the PK again in 2024-25.

With Adam Henrique missing his second game of the playoffs due to injury, Connor Brown will draw back into the Oilers' lineup on Sunday for Game 3 vs. Vancouver. The 30-year-old right-winger made his Oilers' playoff debut in Game 1 of their second series and failed to pick up a point while also grabbing two PIMs in 7:35 TOI.
Brown will make his Oilers' playoff debut on Wednesday as he draws back into the lineup for the injured Adam Henrique (lower body) for Game 1 vs. Vancouver. The 30-year-old right-winger struggled mightily in his first season in Edmonton, with only four goals, eight assists, 108 SOG, 10 PIMs and -8 plus/minus in 71 games played. He is expected to take a fourth-line role on Wednesday.
Brown will presumably take over Derek Ryan's spot on the Oilers' fourth line when they travel to St. Louis on Monday. Brown has three goals and six assists in 61 games this season.
Brown did not play on Tuesday but will return to the lineup on Thursday against the Buffalo Sabres, replacing Derek Ryan, who will be a healthy scratch. Last week, Brown scored his first goal of the season on his 89th shot.

Brown has failed to materialize as a contributor to the Oilers' offence this season and will likely serve as a healthy scratch on Thursday against the New Jersey Devils. While averaging 14:26 time-on-ice, Brown has scored only one point (0G / 1A) through 23 games, including occasional deployment in the Oilers' top six.
In Brown's four games before his injury, he was averaging 2.25 shots per game, a vast improvement over the 0.80 he was averaging in the five games prior, and perhaps a sign that he is re-finding his game. Brown, who has yet to record a point through nine games this season, skated at practice alongside Connor McDavid and Ryan Nugent-Hopkins at practice on Friday.

Brown underwent a surgical procedure on his right knee to reconstruct his torn ACL after he was injured in a game against Vancouver on October 17th. It is a tough loss for Brown and the Capitals after he was acquired in the offseason. In his four games prior to the injury, the 28-year-old had no points and was a -3 plus/minus rating.
