Larsson will miss Wednesday’s game with a lower-body injury, which means that Eric Gryba will draw back into the lineup. Larsson is listed as day-to-day, so consider him as questionable for Friday’s game in Washington.

Larsson missed Saturday's game with a minor lower-body injury, but could play tonight vs. the Coyotes. Larsson has two goals and six assists (eight points) in his first 44 games with the Oilers.
Larsson, 23, was the fourth overall pick in the 2011 NHL Draft, but has yet to develop into the premiere two-way defenseman that he was expected to be. However, at just 23-years-old he still has a lot of years to become the top-pairing defenseman that the Oilers are hoping they just acquired. He had 18 points (3G / 15A) in 82 games with the Devils last season.
Larsson was listed as questionable due to an illness, but was on the ice for the morning skate and will play tonight vs. the Penguins. Larsson has one goal and five assists in his last eight games.
Larsson has missed the last nine games with mumps, but went to the minor for Friday’s game to help him get back up to speed. Despite being recalled, there is no word whether he will play tonight.
Larsson will miss his ninth consecutive game tonight so the Devils will send him to Albany to get one game under his belt before returning to the Devils tomorrow.
Larsson has missed the last seven games with the mumps virus, but he is on the ice this morning. Despite taking part in the morning skate, Larsson is skating on the fourth pair so he is not expected to be in the lineup tonight vs. the Senators.
Larsson has missed the last five games with the mumps but will return to practice on Saturday and should be ready to return to the lineup next week.
The diagnostic process takes so long -- five to seven days, but Larsson is still recovering and is in isolation. Larsson becomes the 10th player on a growing list of players who have been diagnosed with mumps. Larsson has been out since December 2nd.
Jon Merrill will re-enter the lineup for Larsson who is battling the flu. Larsson struggled to get into the lineup in the early part of the season, but has played well as of late and has four points (1G / 3A) and a minus-2 rating in 17 games this season. He is day-to-day.
Larsson made his season debut on Tuesday and played 12:30, recording two shots, but no points. He will come out of the lineup and Eric Gelinas will return to the blueline vs. the Stars.
The former fourth overall pick has been a healthy scratch in each of the Devils' first five games, but it appears as if he will play on Tuesday vs. the Rangers. Larsson is skating on the Devils' third pair with Jon Merrill, while Eric Gelinas is skating as the seventh defenseman. Larsson has just three goals and 24 assists (27 points) in 128 career NHL games.
Larsson has only one goal and two assists in 20 games with the Devils this season. While in the AHL he has registered 19 points (3G / 16A) in 32 games. The Devils have a couple of defensemen who are banged up, thus the Larsson recall.
Larsson has no goals and four assists in six games since being assigned there on Jan. 9 to get back playing after recovering from a left knee injury he sustained in Nov. 23 in San Jose. “He’ll stay there right now and play for a while,” GM Lou Lamoriello said. “Right now, our defense is playing good and we just want him to get his total game back. He’s playing a lot and the team is playing very well. It’s a good team there right now."
Larsson has been out since November 23 with a lower-body injury, so this assignment is likely for conditioning purposes and he should be recalled after a couple of games in Albany. Larsson has three points (1G / 2A) and a minus-4 rating in 20 games with the Devils.
Larsson will miss his second straight game after being injured on Saturday. Devils GM Lou Lamoriello said the injury is not serious and believes Larsson will avoid a stint on injured reserve, so consider him day-to-day and questionable for Friday.
Larsson is not skating this morning and the Devils have recalled Jon Merrill on an emergency basis, suggesting that Larsson is unable to go tonight vs. Winnipeg. Larsson has not developed into the offensive-defenseman the Devils were hoping for when they made him the fourth overall pick in 2011. There is no word how long Larsson will be out.
Larsson has no points and is a minus-5 in six games this season.
