Lowry crunched Kylington into the corner during Saturday’s Heritage Classic and will miss Tuesday’s game in Anaheim and Friday’s game in San Jose. Logan Shaw was recalled from Manitoba (AHL) and will likely draw into the lineup for Lowry tomorrow.
Lowry missed the last two games due to suspension but has also been battling an illness, but will play on Friday. Lowry will skate with Mathieu Perreault and Bryan Little and has 17 points (8G / 9A) in 62 games this season.

This is a tough time for Lowry to get hurt because he was seeing his largest usage of the season with Mark Scheifele sidelined, however it doesn’t look like Lowry will miss too much time.

THere’s no word on how long Lowry will be sidelined but his move to IR was retroactive to October 12th, so he is eligible to come off before Friday’s game vs. Minnesota.
