Petrovic has missed the last two games with a lower-body injury but it looks like he’ll be back in tonight in Montreal. Petrovic doesn’t bring a lot off offence to the table, having picked up just 11 points (1G / 10A) in 56 games this season.
Petrovic has been a healthy scratch in three of the last five games, including vs. the Lightning on Monday, but will replace an unnamed player in the lineup tomorrow. He has just two assists in eight games this season.

Despite appearing in just 49 games last season, Petrovic nearly topped his career-high in points, posting 14 points (1G / 13A) with the Panthers. Petrovic is a solid third-pairing defenseman on a talented Panthers’ back-end, but won’t have a fantasy impact.
Petrovic has been out since November 15th because of an ankle injury, but the 24-year-old is set to return to the lineup on Thursday. Petrovic scored one goal with four helpers in 16 games earlier in the season and should replace Jakub Kindl on the blueline.
Petrovic was hurt in the Panthers’ win in Montreal on Tuesday. He missed Thursday’s game in Toronto and was moved to IR on Friday so the Panthers’ could recall Jakub Kindl to join them on their road-trip.
Petrovic suffered a foot injury in Saturday’s loss to the Capitals, but he will play on Thursday in Anaheim. He has two assists and 16 PIMS in 10 games this season.
Petrovic was recalled on Wednesday and will be in the lineup tonight. He will replace Dylan Olsen and likely be paired with Erik Gudbranson. Petrovic leads all San Antonio (AHL) blue liners with 19 points (3G / 16A) this season.
Petrovic, 22, leads all San Antonio defensemen in points with 19 (3G / 16A) in 39 games. He has yet to play with the Panthers this season, but has one assist in 13 career games over the last two years.
Petrovic who was just recalled lands on IR for the second time this season. He has been recalled on multiple occasions, but injuries have limited him to just seven games with the Panthers. Colby Robak was recalled on Saturday and will replace Petrovic.
Petrovic had no points in five games with the Panthers earlier this season, but then suffered an upper-body injury which cost him his spot with the big-club. He is back now with Erik Gudbranson out and has recorded two goals and 11 assists (13 points) in 43 games in San Antonio.
Petrovic was injured in Saturday's game vs. the Predators. Petrovic has played in the last five games since being recalled. He has been held off the score sheet, but had a plus-4 rating. He joins Dylan Olsen and Erik Gudbranson as injured Panthers defensemen. Expect Mike Mottau to slide into the lineup, unless the Panthers decide to recall another defenseman.
Petrovic was the 36th overall pick in 2010. The 6-foot-4 defenseman skated in his first six NHL games with the Panthers last year. In 30 games with San Antonio this season, Petrovic has two goals and 11 points with a plus-6 rating.
No word yet on who will come out of the lineup
Petrovic will play one more season in Juniors and then be reevaluated. At age 19 the blueliner scored seven goals and 57 points in only 69 games with the Red Deer Rebels. He should have a bright future ahead of him.
