Steen (hand) will make his season debut on Wednesday.

Steen missed the first six games of the season with a hand injury that he suffered in the preseason, but will draw into the Blues lineup tonight vs. the Blackhawks. Steen’s return is expected to bump Samuel Blais from the lineup and he should skate with Paul Stastny and Vladimir Tarasenko.

Steen was cleared to return to practice on Monday after missing the first six games of the regular season with a broken left hand. Blues head coach Mike Yeo would not commit to Steen playing on Wednesday, but it’s a positive sign that he is close to make his season debut.

Steen has missed the last six games with an upper-body injury, but will be back in the lineup tonight vs. the Lightning. Steen has picked up 10 points (2G / 8A) in 17 games this season and tonight he will skate in between Vladimir Tarasenko and Robby Fabbri.

Steen has missed the last four games with an undisclosed injury, but returned to practice on Friday and could be back in the lineup on Saturday. Steen has two goals and eight assists (10 points) in 17 games this season, monitor his status during the Blues’ morning skate.

Steen has missed the las two games with an undisclosed injury and is expected to miss the Blues’ short two-game losing streak. There’s no word as to what is ailing Steen, but it will keep him sidelined for a few more games at the very least. Ty Rattie will remain in the lineup with Steen out.

Steen is still recovering from offseason shoulder surgery that kept him out of the World Cup of Hockey, but he is expected to be ready for the start of the season. The 32-year-old winger has missed 37 games over the last three years, but has produced solid numbers despite injury woes. Steen has averaged 25 goals and 35 assists (60 points) over that stretch and should be expected to post similar numbers in 2016-17.

The Blues have placed Alex Steen (lower-body) on IR; will miss at least four weeks.

Steen suffered an upper-body injury after crashing into the boards following a hit from Coyotes defenseman Kevin Connauton. He go up clutching his arm and the injury he sustained will sideline him for at least three weeks. He will be re-evaluated at that time and the Blues will determine the next course of action. With Steen out, Magnus Paajarvi is expected to return to the lineup on Monday.

Steen crashed into the boards after being hit by Coyotes’ defenseman Kevin Connauton. He got up hold his arm and went directly to the locker room. The Blues did not provide a post-game update on Steen’s status, but it did not look good.

Steen did not take part in the Blues morning skate and he will be held out of tonight’s game against the Canucks. With Steen out, Olli Jokinen will get back into the lineup. Steen should be available for Thursday's game vs. the Flames.
