Loktionov is more comfortable at center as he has no goals and two assists through six games at wing. Interesting to see if he starts producing at the NHL due to the switch.

Andrei Loktionov is, on left wing with Mike Richards and Dustin Brown.
The Kings previously demoted Loktionov because they felt he was better at center. He registered three goals and 14 points during his first 17 games with the Monarchs. Interesting to see if he can react positively to playing left wing.

Well, there’s one significant roster move…center Andrei Loktionov has been assigned to Manchester of the AHL. As noted in a post a couple days ago, Loktionov essentially got caught in a numbers game.
No immediate fantasy hockey value in the AHL.

But I’m very happy with how Loktionov has gone through the training camp also
Loktionov likely starts the season with the Manchester Monarchs. Last season he scored four goals and seven points over 19 games with the team but scored eight goals and 31 points through 34 games in the AHL. Expect him to get a call when one of the team's four centermen get hurt.
