The Senators have signed Anthony Duclair to a one-year extension worth $1.65 million.

Duclair was acquired from the Blue Jackets as a part of the Matt Duchene trade and drastically improved his numbers in Ottawa. Duclair saw over 1:30 TOI more per game with the Senators and scored eight goals with six assists (14 points) in 21 games. With a lack of talent in Ottawa heading into 2019-20, Duclair should continue to play a middle-6 role for the Senators.

The Senators have acquired Anthony Duclair, a 2020 second-round pick and a 2021 second-round pick from the Blue Jackets for Ryan Dzingel and a 2019 seventh-round pick.

Duclair has fallen out of favour in Columbus but is a player who possesses a lot of potential and upside. Duclair has scored 11 goals and eight assists (19 points) in 52 games this season. Duclair could play a big role in Ottawa with the team selling off most of their top players at the deadline.

The Blackhawks have acquired Anthony Duclair and Adam Clendening from the Coyotes for Richard Panik and Laurent Dauphin.

Duclair reportedly asked to be dealt out of Arizona and they granted his wish. Duclair has nine goals and six assists (15 points) in 33 games with the Coyotes this season, but has yet to live up to expectations to this point in his career. Duclair is still young and could become a capable goal-scorer in this league and will look to start fresh in Chicago. The Blackhawks don’t have a lot depth on the wing, so Duclair could earn a sizeable role at some point.

The Coyotes have acquired Anthony Duclair, John Moore, a 2016 1st round pick and a 2015 2nd round pick from the Rangers for Keith Yandle, Chris Summers and a 2015 4th round pick.

Duclair, 19, displayed incredible chemistry with Max Domi, who was the Coyotes first round pick in 2013, at this winter’s World Juniors. Duclair, who had seven points (1G / 6A) in 18 games with the Rangers earlier this season, has recorded nine goals and 16 assists (25 points) in 19 games since being sent back to the Quebec Remparts (QMJHL).
