The Canadiens have signed Artturi Lehkonen to a two-year contract worth $4.8 million ($2.4M AAV).

Lehkonen, who has recorded two goals and three assists (five points) in 18 games this season will be replaced by Paul Byron on a line with Jonathan Drouin and Alex Galchenyuk. Lehkonen is listed as day-to-day.
Lehkonen suffered an undisclosed injury in Saturday’s game vs. the Flyers. Lehkonen missed Monday’s practice and will not play Tuesday vs. the Bruins. Consider him day-to-day.
