Bishop leads the Kings onto the ice for warmups.

Bishop allowed two goals on 30 shots in the Kings’ overtime loss in Calgary in his Los Angeles debut on Tuesday. Jonathan Quick started on Thursday, but Bishop will get the Canucks tonight in his first start vs. the home crowd. He was pulled in his only start vs. Vancouver when he was with Tampa Bay.

Bishop stopped 20 of 21 shots in a win over the Oilers in his final start with the Lightning before being traded to the Kings. He heads to Los Angeles on a five-game winning streak, having posting a .953 SV% and one shutout over that stretch. He will have a lot easier playing behind a defensive Kings squad.

Bishop stopped 20 of 21 shots in a win over the Oilers in his final start with the Lightning before being traded to the Kings. He heads to Los Angeles on a five-game winning streak, having posting a .953 SV% and one shutout over that stretch. He will have a lot easier playing behind a defensive Kings squad.

Bishop will be an unrestricted free agent this summer, so the Lightning moved him despite being in playoff contention. Bishop has had a bit of a down year, going 16-12-3 with a 2.55 GAA and .911 SV% in 32 games and heads to Los Angeles where he will likely split time with Jonathan Quick. Andrei Vasilevskiy takes over as the Lightning’s No.1 netminder following the trade.

Bishop has been excellent as of late—he comes into Thursday on a five-game winning streak having allowed just six goals on 127 shots (.953 SV%) with one shutout. He allowed three goals on 22 shots in a 6-3 win in his first start vs. Calgary.

Bishop has been excellent lately and tonight he’ll face the Oilers for the second time this season—he stopped 30 of 32 shots in a 3-2 shootout loss in the first meeting.

Bishop stopped all 28 shots that he faced in the Lightning’s shutout win over the Kings on Tuesday. Andrei Vasilevskiy gave him a night off yesterday, but Bishop will start tonight in Winnipeg. Bishop has earned back-to-back wins while stopping 42 of the last 44 shots (.955 SV%) that he has faced.

Bishop made 14 saves on 16 shots in the Lightning’s win over the Ducks on Saturday. It was an easy outing for Bishop, who has just 12 wins in 27 starts this season. In mid-January he took on the Kings, like he will tonight, and he turned aside 31 of 32 shots in a 2-1 win that night.

Bishop allowed four goals on 35 shots in the Lightning’s loss to the Bruins on Tuesday. Bishop has lost three in a row while allowing a combined 11 goals on 73 shots (.849 SV%). Bishop has had a difficult season and tonight he faces the Ducks for the second time in a few weeks—he allowed two goals on 21 shots in a 2-1 OT loss on January 17th.

Bishop was yanked after he allowed five goals on 17 shots in the Lightning’s loss in Arizona on January 21st. Andrei Vasilevskiy has played in three of the last four games, but Bishop will go tonight vs. the Bruins. His first start against Boston didn’t go well—he allowed four goals on 30 shots in a 4-1 loss back in November.

Bishop allowed one goal on 32 shots in the Lightning’s win over the Kings yesterday afternoon. Bishop has stopped 55 of the 58 shots (.948 SV%) that he has faced in two wins since retuning to the Lightning crease. With Andrei Vasilevskiy struggling in his absence, it’s not surprising to see Bishop go again tonight, especially because of the extra rest due to yesterday’s afternoon game.

Bishop allowed two goals on 26 shots in his return to the Lightning’s crease last Thursday. The Lightning are happy to have their No.1 netminder back between the pipes, but he comes into Los Angeles with a 5-6-2 record, 2.53 GAA and .915 SV% on the road in 2016-17.

Bishop has missed the last nine games with a lower-body injury, but will return to the crease tonight vs. the Sabres. The 30-year-old has gone 9-10-2 with a 2.79 GAA and .907 SV% on the season and will be looking to improve in the second half. He stopped 32 of 33 shots in a 4-1 win in his first start against the Sabres this season.
