The Lightning did not hold a morning skate because of their back-to-back. Head coach Jon Cooper is expected to announce his goalie when he addresses the media around 5:30 p.m. ET.

Bishop was pulled last night after he allowed five goals on 23 shots in the Lightning’s loss in Brooklyn last night. Cooper did not announce his starting goalie when he talked to the media post-game.

He will need to continue playing well as the Lightning continue life without Steven Stamkos. Bishop is 1-1-0 with a 3.54 GAA and .868 SV% in two starts vs. the Islanders this season.

Tonight he takes on the Canadiens for the third time this year—he is 0-1-1 with a 3.46 GAA and .885 SV% in the first two.

Bishop starts at home vs. the Islanders—he allowed three goals on 22 shots in a 3-2 loss in his first start vs. the Isles and has gone 16-10-3 with a 2.10 GAA and .921 SV% at Amalie Arena.

Bishop stopped all 32 shots that he faced in the Lightning’s shutout win in Arizona on Saturday. Bishop has gone 4-2-1 with a 1.72 GAA and .945 SV% in seven starts in March. Tonight he will make his fourth start against the Red Wings—the 29-year-old netminder has gone 1-2-0 with a 1.69 GAA and .935 SV% in the first three meetings.

Andrei Vasilevskiy started and lost on Tuesday, so they’ll go back to Bishop tonight in Dallas. Bishop is 3-1-1 with a 1.60 GAA and .948 SV% in March, but was torched for five goals on 22 shots in his first start vs. the Stars.

The loss snapped a six-game winning streak for Bishop, but it was still a stellar performance from the 29-year-old. Bishop has gone 15-9-3 with a 2.06 GAA and .923 SV% on home ice this season. He faces a Flyers team that comes in having won five of their last six games.
