Bishop will start for the Lightning.

Bishop allowed two goals on 23 shots in the Lightning’s win over the Maple Leafs on Monday. He was held out of Wednesday’s game to nurse a minor injury, but will be back in the cage tonight in Pittsburgh. Bishop enters play at 18-6-2 with a 2.29 GAA and .914 SV%.

Bishop stopped 25 of 26 shots in the Lightning’s win over the Hurricanes on Saturday. It was a nice return for Bishop who had struggled a bit prior to getting hurt. Tonight he will face a Toronto team who has lost four of five while averaging 4.20 goals against per game. They might push a few past Bishop, but he has a good chance to record the W tonight.

Bishop missed the last four games with a groin injury, but he will be back in tonight vs. the Hurricanes. He has lost each of his last four starts with an ugly 3.35 GAA and .872 SV%. Despite his recent struggles, he has a fantastic matchup tonight vs. the visiting Hurricanes.

But Bishop is expected to return from a lower-body injury Saturday when the team hosts Carolina.

Bishop missed the four games with a lower-body injury, but he is on the ice for the morning skate and is expected to start tonight vs. the Hurricanes. He has lost each of his last four starts, but has a fantastic matchup tonight and should make for a great fantasy start if he ends up getting the nod.

Bishop was back at practice again on Monday and said after the skate that he thinks he will be able to play on Tuesday. We likely won’t know if he is starting for sure until after tomorrow’s morning skate, but this is great news for Bishop owners.

Bishop has missed the last three games with a lower-body injury that he suffered last Monday. He was hoping to be back in the crease this weekend, but only practiced on Saturday. His availability again this morning suggests that Bishop could be back tomorrow vs. the Penguins.

Earlier in the week Bishop was hopeful that he would be able to skate today and return to the crease this weekend. He said that he might skate tomorrow, but the chances of him playing on Friday and Saturday appears slim.

Bishop said he tweaked something in the first period of last night’s game. Bishop hopes to practice on Thursday on play this weekend, either Friday vs. the Devils or Saturday vs. the Islanders.

Bishop finished the first period, but told coach Cooper that he could not go back in for the second. Bishop stopped four of five shots in the first, before being replaced by Evgeni Nabokov for the second. The Lightning are back in action tonight, so it is unlikely that Bishop will be ready to go, so look for Nabokov to start in goal.

Bishop allowed three goals on 27 shots in the Lightning’s 4-2 loss to the Capitals on Saturday. He has now dropped his last three starts with a 3.44 GAA and .877 SV%. It has been a tough stretch for Bishop, who will look to get back on track tonight vs. a Penguins team without Sidney Crosby.

Bishop allowed four goals on 34 shots in the Lightning’s loss to the Capitals on Tuesday. After getting Thursday night off, Bishop will be back in the cage tonight and get a second crack at Washington. Bishop is 16-5-2 with a 2.31 GAA and .915 SV% on the season so it is easy to expect a bounce-back performance from the 6-foot-7 net minder.

Bishop gave up three goals on 20 shots in the Bolts’ 3-1 loss to Columbus on Saturday. The loss snapped a five-game winning streak for Bishop, who sits at 16-4-2 with a 2.24 GAA and .916 SV% on the year. Tonight the Lightning welcome the Capitals to Amalie Arena, where Bishop is 11-2-1 with a 2.00 GAA and .924 SV% this season.

Bishop stopped all 13 shots that he faced in the Lightning’s 5-0 shutout win over the Sabres on Thursday. Yeah he wasn’t tested much in this one, the Lightning dominated from start to finish. Bishop has won five in a row with a 1.60 GAA and .936 SV% and draws another good matchup tonight with the banged up Blue Jackets in town.

Bishop surrendered three goals on 35 shots in Monday’s 6-3 victory over the Rangers. It was the third time in two weeks that Bishop handed New York the loss. He is riding a four-game winning streak and sits 15-3-2 with a 2.30 GAA and .917 SV%. Tonight he takes on a Sabres team who have surprisingly won six of seven, but don’t let that scare you; he is a must start.

Bishop stopped 26 of 27 shots in the Lightning’s 4-1 victory over the Senators on Saturday. He has now won three in a row and five of his last six starts with a 2.03 GAA and .914 SV%. He will face the Rangers for the third time in the last two weeks—he won both of them.
