Davidson has been out of the lineup for the last two games, but will replace Nathan Beaulieu in the lineup tonight vs. the Blackhawks. Davidson had two shots and a minus-1 rating in his Canadiens debut last Tuesday and has just one assist in 29 games this season.
Davidson has had a long journey to the NHL as a sixth round pick, but has registered just one assist in 28 games this season. Davidson will likely find playing time hard to come by in Montreal.
Davidson has recorded one just one assist in 25 games this season and will be replaced by Kris Russell, who returns from a lower-body injury tomorrow.
Davidson has been sidelined since the season opener when he suffered a shoulder injury on a collision with Matthew Tkachuk. Davidson will replace Dillon Simpson in the lineup.
Davidson left Wednesday’s game with an undisclosed injury and did not return. Davidson, who was battling injury in the preseason as well, will head to IR and opens up a roster spot for Eric Gryba to get into the lineup.

Davidson did not appear in either of the Oilers' two games during his time with the team after being called up on Monday.
