Dubinsky has been out since February 2nd and has been placed on IR to open up a roster spot. Dubinsky remains “day-to-day” but the Blue Jackets have not indicated when they expect him back.
Dubinsky was forced to leave Monday’s practice and will be a game-time decision on Tuesday. Dubinsky, who has been limited to a fourth-line role for most of the season, has 11 points (5G / 6A) in 37 games this season.
Dubinsky has missed the last four games but was activated from IR on Thursday and is expected to replace Anthony Duclair in the lineup on Friday. Dubinsky, who will skate with Alexander Wennberg and Kevin Stenlund, has just 10 points (4G / 6A) in 32 games this season.
Dubinsky is expected to be out for “a little while” with a lower-body injury that he suffered in Tampa Bay on Tuesday.
Dubinsky skated on the third line in Monday’s practice and said he would “1000 percent” be back later this week, but he will return tonight vs. the Wild. Dubinsky has missed six weeks but will skate with Matt Calvert and Oliver Bjorkstrand tonight. He had three goals and nine assists (12 points) in 31 games before getting injured.
Dubinsky has been out since December 12th but could be back as soon as Tuesday. Dubinsky skated on the Blue Jackets third line on Monday but isn’t sure if he’s quite ready to go on Tuesday. If he doesn’t play tomorrow, look for him to be back by Friday.
