Gaunce appeared in one game during his call-up and picked up one assist in 9:10 TOI. He returns to the AHL to make room for John Moore to come back from his conditioning stint.
Gaunce had one assist in 9:10 TOI in his Bruins debut on Wednesday but will be replaced by Jack Studnicka in the lineup on Friday.
Gaunce was called up last week but did not make his Bruins debut. In 14 AHL games, the 25-year-old has collected six goals and five assists (11 points). He could make his debut on their two-game road-trip with both Patrice Bergeron and Brett Ritchie both out.
Gaunce has spent the entire season with Providence, where he has recorded four goals and three assists (seven points) in 11 games. He spent the first five years of his career with the Canucks, where he had 15 points (6G / 9A) in 117 career NHL games.
Gaunce has one goal in three games with Utica this season. The Canucks lost Brandon Sutter for at least one month, so Gaunce comes up to serve as a reserve forward. He has just 12 points (5G / 7A) in 114 career NHL games.
Gaunce hurt his foot while blocking a shot against Florida and will not be available on Thursday. Reid Boucher has been recalled from Utica (AHL) and will replace Gaunce tonight.
Gaunce has been a healthy scratch for the last two games but will replace Nic Dowd in the lineup tonight vs. the Avalanche. Gaunce has registered just two goals and one assist in 30 games this season.
Gaunce has just one goal and one assist in 26 games this season and he will come out of the lineup tonight in favour of Nikolay Goldobin.
The Penguins are in Winnipeg to take on a heavy Jets team, so Gaunce has been recalled and could draw in on the third pair. The 6-foot-1, 203 lbs. defenseman has two assists in six games with Pittsburgh this season.
Gaunce had one goal in six games with the Canucks during his call-up, but now he returns to Utica, where he has 33 points (15G / 18A) in 43 games this season.
Gaunce, 21, was the Canucks first round pick (26th overall) in 2012. The 6-foot-2, 205 lbs. winger will make his NHL debut on Thursday after scoring one goal with one assist in five games with Utica prior to his call-up. He will skate on the fourth line with Jared McCann and Derek Dorsett.
