Pesce has been out since November 10th and was moved to IR to open up a roster spot to call-up Trevor Carrick. Pesce remains day-ro-day, so it’s unclear when he’ll be back on the Hurricanes blueline.

Pesce is listed as day-to-day with a lower-body injury that he suffered against the Red Wings on Saturday. Pesce was reportedly injured in a knee-on-knee collision, but is not expected to be sidelined long-term. With Pesce out, Trevor van Riemsdyk will draw back into the lineup on Monday.
Pesce has missed the last five games with an upper-body injury but it looks like he’ll be back in tonight. Pesce is still searching for his first goal of the season but has nine assists in 39 games.
Pesce was hit by a puck in Tuesday’s practice and the Hurricanes revealed on Wednesday that he suffered a concussion and will miss at least two games. With Pesce out, Klas Dahlbeck will draw into the lineup and play with Jaccob Slavin.
Pesce was banged up at Tuesday’s practice and was held off of the ice on Wednesday, clouding his status for Thursday’s game in Colorado. With Pesce not on the ice, Klas Dahlbeck skated with Jaccob Slavin.
Pesce missed the Hurricanes’ morning skate and is listed as a game-time decision for tonight’s game. If Pesce can’t play, expect Matt Tennyson to skate with Jaccob Slavin and for Klas Dahlbeck to draw into the lineup.
There is no word as to what is ailing Pesce, but head coach Bill Peters said that Pesce will be a game-time decision tonight. If Pesce can't play, Ryan Murphy will replace him in the lineup.
