Boeser suffered an injury against the Golden Knights on Sunday and is expected to miss some time with an upper-body injury. The team did not provide a timetable on his return but he's expected to miss at least the next two games.
Just when the Canucks thought they were in the clear, Boeser and Philip Di Giuseppe tested positive and will miss Wednesday's game vs. the Ducks. It's unclear who will replace Boeser on the Canucks' top line.
Boeser was on the ice for the Canucks morning skate again, but did not participate in line rushes and is not expected to play in Philadelphia. Boeser appears to be close, so there's a chance he plays in the second half of the back-to-back, tomorrow in Detroit.
