Little played just 2:48 in the first period before exiting the game with a lower-body injury. Little missed 25 games last year and a total of 37 games over the previous two seasons, so injuries are nothing new for the 28-year-old centre. After missing Monday’s practice, Little was back at Jets practice on Tuesday and coach Maurice confirmed that Little will be in the lineup tomorrow vs. the Oilers. Little has three goals and one assist in his last four games, giving him 15 points (8G / 7A) in 25 games on the year.
Little is expected to skate tomorrow and if all goes well he will be in the lineup on Wednesday. He suffered a leg injury late in Friday’s game vs. the Bruins. Monitor his status over the next few days.
