Price (flu) will make his season debut on Thursday.

Price missed the first three games of the season with the flu, but will make his season debut tonight vs. the Coyotes. Price is viewed as one of the top goalies in the NHL and is a must-start whenever he gets the nod. Price was 10-2-0 with a 2.06 GAA and .934 SV% in 12 games before suffering a knee injury in 2015-16.

Price reportedly lost five-to-seven lbs. because of the flu, but he is feeling better and hopes to make his season debut on Thursday. Monitor Price’s status during the Canadiens’ morning skate for confirmation that he will start.

Price will miss his third consecutive game with a bad case of the flu, but his availability for the morning skate is an encouraging sign that he is nearing his season debut. Today is the second straight day that Price has skated, so monitor his status leading up to Thursday’s game vs. the Coyotes.

Price is battling with a severe case of the flu, accompanied by a fever. He has already been ruled out of Saturday’s game so the Canadiens put him on IR to enable them to recall someone from St. John’s (AHL). Price isn’t eligible to play before Monday, which is fine because the Canadiens’ next game after Saturday isn’t until Tuesday, Monitor Price’s status leading into next week.

Price has been fighting a virus, but all signs were pointing towards him being ready for the season opener on Thursday. He missed Wednesday’s practice and will not travel to Buffalo for Thursday’s game. Look for Al Montoya to start and consider Price as day-to-day.

Price is battling the flu just three days prior to the start of the regular season, but he will be ready for the season opener vs. the Sabres. Price is coming off of an injury ruined season, but looked terrific in the World Cup of Hockey and enters 2016-17 as a top-3 fantasy netminder. Make sure he is in your lineups on Thursday.

Despite skating over the last week, Price remains at least three weeks away from returning to the Canadiens crease. This is a tough blow for a Habs team that continues to slip in the standings. With Price sidelined until mid-to-late February, Montreal will continue to roll with Mike Condon and Ben Scrivens as their goaltending tandem.

Price is not expected to return until after the All Star break, but he was on the ice for the last two days, which is a big step in him returning in early February. Price’s return would be huge for the Canadiens—he is one of the league’s top net minders and has gone 10-2-0 with a 2.06 GAA and .934 SV% this season.

Price has been sidelined since November 25th because of a lower-body injury and he was originally given a six-week timetable. Next Monday will mark six weeks, but Price has been ruled out for the remainder of January. Monitor Price’s status as the All Star game approaches.

Price missed nine games with a lower-body injury earlier in November and aggravated the injury in his third game back. Price will miss at lest six weeks, which means he will miss the Winter Classic and will be out until mid-January. If Price misses six weeks he will miss 18 games, which means Mike Condon has big shoes to fill and will have Dustin Tokarski as his backup.

Price aggravated the same lower-body injury that forced him to miss nine games earlier this month. Mike Condon played well while Price was out and the Canadiens will have to turn to him again it appears. There is no word how long Price will be out, but you have to believe the Canadiens will be extra careful with their star netminder this time around.

Price made 21 saves on 23 shots in Sunday’s win over the Islanders. Both of his starts since returning from injury have results in wins over the Islanders, showing he is back at 100 percent. Tonight he will make his third straight start and he is expected to go head-to-head with Henrik Lundqvist. In his first start vs. the Rangers, he registered a 25-save shutout in a 3-0 win.

Price has been out since November 1st, but he will finally to make his return to the crease on Friday. Price has been great this season, winning seven of his nine starts while posting a rock solid 2.01 GAA and .936 SV%. Whenever Price gets the nod, he is a strong option but he draws a fairly tough matchup vs. an Islanders team that is eighth in the NHL in scoring.

Price has been sidelined since October 29th, but his return to practice this morning suggests that he is nearing a return to the Habs’ crease. Mike Condon has played admirably while serving as Montreal’s No. 1, but he has struggled recently, so Price’s return will be a welcomed sight. Monitor his status as the week progresses.

On Monday, Price went to New York for a second opinion on his lower-body injury, but these tests came back the same as the first tests. The good news for Price is that he will not need surgery and is only expected to miss another week. With Price still sidelined, look for Mike Condon to start on Wednesday and Saturday.
