Tonight he'll face a Sabres team that is on a seven-game winning streak, averaging 4.14 goals per game.

Hutton stopped 41 of 43 shots in the Sabres win in Pittsburgh last Saturday. Hutton has been excellent in his last six starts, going 5-1-0 with a 2.83 GAA and .916 SV%. Hutton allowed two goals on 39 shots in the Sabres win in New York last Friday. He missed Sunday's game with a personal matter but will return to the crease tonight vs. the Red Wings. Hutton has won two of his last three starts while stopping 67 of 75 shots (.893 SV%) and draws a solid matchup with the Red Wings in town. However, they did beat the Sabres in a shootout last Thursday and are coming off of a 3-1 win over the Bruins.

Hutton will not be available for Sunday's game due to a family matter, so Andrew Hammond was recalled from Rochester to serve as Jonas Johansson's backup.
