Hutton allowed four goals on 30 shots in the Sabres loss in Carolina on Friday. Hutton has just one win since the middle of December, going 1-5-2 with a 2.86 GAA and .909 SV% in his last eight starts. The Oilers aren’t intimidating outside for Connor McDavid but Hutton’s road record is ugly—4-9-1 with a 2.94 GAA and .904 SV%.

The win snapped a six-game losing skid for Hutton, who is 15th in the NHL in GAA (2.57) and SV% (.918) this season. Hutton has had a tough time on the road, going 4-8-1 with a 2.85 GAA and .906 SV% in 13 appearances.

Hutton has been one of the best goalies in the NHL over the last month and he has been really good on home-ice, going 9-2-1 with a 2.31 GAA and .928 SV% this season.

Hutton missed the last two games with an upper-body injury but will be back between the pipes tonight vs. the visiting Arizona Coyotes. Since winning eight in a row, Hutton has lost back-to-back starts while allowing a combined seven goals on 62 shots (.887 SV%). He should be able to bounce-back against a Coyotes team that has lost three in a row and is 28th in the NHL in goal-scoring (2.59 GF/pg).

Over that stretch, Hutton ranks ninth among goalies in GAA (1.98) and tied for eighth in SV% (.934). The Sabres are among the top teams in the NHL right now, but the Sharks pose a lot of matchup issues for Buffalo.
