Ceci has missed the last 12 games with an ankle injury but is set to return to the Maple Leafs lineup at some point last week. While Ceci is still out, a combination of Timothy Liljegren and Calle Rosen will remain on Toronto's blueline.

The former 15th overall pick has 56 career points (18G / 38A) in his first 205 NHL games. Ceci will spend the 2016-17 season on the Senators’ second pairing behind Erik Karlsson.
