Glass picked up his first assist, of the season and played 13:07 TOI Monday vs. Colorado but was announced week-to-week with a lower-body injury and has been placed on the injured reserve. The 24-year-old has struggled mightily out of the gate in 2023-24, with one assist, 17 SOG, two PIMs, and a -2 plus/minus in nine games after putting up 14 goals and 35 points in 2022-23.

Glass left the Predators' previous game vs. NYR early after just three shifts and 1:46 toI due to a lower-body injury and will now be out 7-10 days. The 24-year-old centre had yet to pick up a point this season in five games played, but has nine SOG and two PIMs. He is coming off a career campaign in 2022-23, where he had 14 goals, 21 assists, 20 PIMs and a +9 plus/minus in 72 games.
Glass had 14 goals, 21 assists, 131 SOG, 20 PIMs and a +9 plus/minus through 72 games with Nashville in 2022-23 and has signed a two-year contract extension worth $5 million ($2,500,000 AAV). The 24-year-old centre joined Nashville from Vegas in 2021-22 and has picked up 23 goals and 58 points across his 146 game career.
Glass was a healthy scratch for the Predators' last four games. In eight games so far in 2022-23, he has a goal and an assist while picking up a -1 plus/minus rating.
Glass missed Thursday's game with an illness and will be a game-time decision for Saturday's game in Dallas. Cole Smith will remain in the Predators' lineup if Glass is unable to play.
Glass has spent most of the season in the AHL, leading them with 60 points (14G / 46A) in 63 games. Glass will replace Matt Luff, who is day-to-day with an illness.
The Predators have had a COVID-19 outbreak, so Glass is part of the reinforcements coming up from Milwaukee. Glass has four goals and 15 assists (19 points) in 21 AHL games this season.
Glass was the No.6 overall pick in the 2017 NHL draft but has had a difficult time landing a full-time role with the Golden Knights. The 22-year-old centre had 10 points (4G / 6A) in 27 games in the most recent NHL season and added 10 points (4G / 6A) in 14 AHL games. Glass gets flipped to Nashville for Nolan Patrick, who was acquired from the Flyers as a part of a trade for Ryan Ellis and was selected No.2 overall in the same draft as Glass.
Because of injuries, suspensions and a cap crunch, the Golden Knights had to play with 10 forwards on Thursday. However, they were able to recall Glass on Saturday and should at least be able to go with 11 forwards and six defensemen tonight. With Chandler Stephenson suspended, Glass could centre a line with Mark Stone and Max Pacioretty.
Glass was a healthy scratch for the last two games but it looks like he'll dress on Friday as the Golden Knights shift back to 13 forwards and five defensemen. Glass has one assist in two games this season.
