Carrick was a healthy scratch for the last two games but will replace Roman Polak in the lineup tonight. Carrick, who will skate with Travis Dermott, has just seven points (3G / 4A) in 34 games this season.

Carrick has been passed on the depth chart by Travis Dermott, at least temporarily so he will sit tonight with Roman Polak (illness) set to return to the lineup. Carrick has just one assist in his last six games.

Carrick will get back into the lineup after being a healthy scratch on Monday. Carrick is in a rotation with Andreas Borgman and Travis Dermott, so look for him to be in the lineup for at least the next two games.

Carrick has been a mainstay on the Maple Leafs blueline for the majority of the season but will be replaced by Roman Polak as the Maple Leafs go with a heavy lineup against the Capitals.

Carrick drew into the lineup on Wednesday after being a healthy scratch for the four previous games. Carrick will come out again tonight with Roman Polak drawing into the lineup.

Carrick missed the last two games with a minor upper-body injury, but was skating on the third pairing at Friday’s practice which suggests that he will play tomorrow. Carrick has one assist and two shots in 15:02 TOI/GM through two games this season.

Carrick has been sidelined by an upper-body injury since February 21st, but will play tonight vs. the Bruins. Carrick will skate with Morgan Rielly and has seven points (2G / 5A) in 55 games this season.

Carrick had two goals and two assists in 16 games after being acquired from Washington. He heads to the Marlies for the first time, but he played 47 AHL games with Hershey earlier this season, collecting 26 points (10G / 16A).

Carrick served as the Capitals seventh defenseman on Saturday and Sunday. His return to the AHL suggests that Brooks Orpik could be back in the Capitals lineup this week.

Carrick, 21, has 15 points (8G / 7A) in 26 games with Hershey this season but has been swapped with Aaron Ness, who has served as the seventh defenseman since December 6th. Carrick has six points (1G / 5A) in 34 career NHL games.

Carrick recorded his first career NHL goal with the Capitals on October 3, it was the only point he has recorded in three games this season. With Hershey the 2012 fifth round pick (137th overall) has four assists and a minus-3 rating in 13 games.

Carrick had a goal and a minus-2 rating in three games with the Capitals.

Washington Capitals defenseman Connor Carrick will make his NHL debut tonight alongside Jack Hillen. Carrick had 12 goals and 44 points in 68 games on the Plymouth Whalers blueline last season. He is a great puck distributor with a great shot, if he sticks on the Caps blueline he has a lot of offensive upside.
