The Devils have traded center David Steckel to the Toronto Maple Leafs for a fourth-round draft pick.
Steckel should add some much needed depth to the team's center depth.
So, basically Steckel played with broken toe whole time as a Devil. It is healed now.
Steckel should provide the Devils with a good penalty killer and faceoff guy -- something they desperately need with Travis Zajac hurt.
