Dubnyk will start Saturday vs. Dallas.

Dubnyk stopped all 38 shots that he faced in the Wild’s shutout win in Buffalo on Thursday. Dubnyk has posed back-to-back shutouts, stopping all 65 shots that he has faced. Dubnyk has had an excellent start to the season, winning four of his first six starts with a 1.67 GAA and .944 SV%. Dallas is 3-3-1 with 2.57 goals per game this year.

Dubnyk allowed two goals on 32 shots in the Wild’s loss in New Jersey on Saturday. Darcy Kuemper started on Sunday, so they’ll come back to Dubnyk tonight in Boston. So far he has two wins in four starts while posting a 2.52 GAA and .912 SV%. He draws a strong matchup tonight with Malcolm Subban starting for a Bruins team that is missing David Backes.

Dubnyk allowed three goals on 17 shots in the Wild’s win over the Jets on Saturday. Dubnyk was given the night off on Tuesday, so he will be in goal tonight vs. the Maple Leafs. Dubnyk allowed a combined six goals on 48 shots (.875 SV%) in his first two starts of the season. It hasn’t been an ideal start and tonight he faces a high-scoring Maple Leafs team, but they’re on the tail-end of a back-to-back.

Dubnyk allowed three goals on 31 shots in the Wild’s loss in St. Louis on Thursday. Dubnyk was OK in the season opener, but can be expected to be better over the course of the year. Tonight he faces a Winnipeg Jets team that he struggled against last year—Dubnyk was 1-4-0 with a 2.64 GAA and .908 SV% in five starts vs. Winnipeg in 2015-16.

Dubnyk started 66 games a season ago, winning 32 with a 2.33 GAA and .918 SV%. The 30-year-old is 59-35-2 since being traded to Minnesota and is a low-end No.1/high-end No.2 option heading into 2016-17. Tonight he faces a Blues team that he was 2-2-1 with a 2.84 GAA and .902 SV% against last year. St. Louis is also on the tail-end of a back-to-back after beating the Blackhawks last night.

Despite losing the first two games of the series, the only reason these games haven’t been blowouts is because of Dubnyk—he has stopped 54 of 59 shots (.915 SV%), but still finds himself in a hole. The 29-year-old netminder is 18-12-2 with a 2.10 GAA and .924 SV% in 34 starts on home ice.

Dubnyk stumbled down the stretch, losing four straight games entering the playoffs. It was certainly not the way he wanted to back into the playoffs, especially with Zach Parise sidelined for the Wild. Dubnyk has gone 59-35-8 in 105 regular season starts with the Wild. Three of those starts came against the Stars this season—he was 1-1-1 with a 2.64 GAA and .922 SV% in those contests.

While Dubnyk will get the start vs. the Flames, he is not expected to play the entire game and will be replaced by Darcy Kuemper whenever he is pulled. Dubnyk has lost four straight while allowing at least three goals in each of those starts.

Tonight he will make his 65th start of the season and 33rd on the road. He faces a Sharks team that has won three of four while averaging 3.50 goals per game.

Tonight he will face the Blackhawks for the fifth time this season—he has surprisingly gone 4-0-0 with a 1.96 GAA and .935 SV% against one of the top teams in the West.

This afternoon he faces an Avalanche team that the Wild are battling for playoff position with—Dubnyk is 2-0-0 with a 2.78 GAA and .896 SV% in three starts against Colorado this season.

He is 7-1-1 with a 2.31 GAA and .921 SV% in 10 starts this month and tonight he will look to extend his winning streak versus a Flames team that has played .500 hockey over their last 10 games.
