The Flames have acquired Dougie Hamilton from the Bruins for 15th, 45th and 52nd draft picks in this year’s draft.

Hamilton is a pending restricted free-agent, but the Flames should have no problem getting him under contract. Since being draft 9th overall in 2011, Hamilton has scored 22 goals with 61 assists (83 points) in 178 career NHL games. He enjoyed a breakout season in 2014-15, registering 42 points (10G / 32A) in 72 contests. He joins Mark Giordano, T.J Brodie and Kris Russell to form a very strong top-4 on the Flames back-end.

Hamilton (upper-body) will not travel on the Bruins three-game road trip.

The Bruins will wrap up their season on a three-game road trip, which Hamilton will not travel on. He has missed the last seven games and it looks like he will miss the rest of the regular season. At this point there is no word whether or not Hamilton will be ready for the playoffs.

Hamilton is out indefinitely with a shoulder injury.

Hamilton missed Monday’s game after suffering what is believed to be a shoulder injury on Sunday. Out indefinitely means that Hamilton could be out for the rest of the regular season—this is a huge blow to the Bruins playoff push. Expect Adam McQuaid to skate with Zdeno Chara on Thursday.

Hamilton has a mild concussion and is "out for a bit" says head coach Claude Julien.

Hamilton missed practice for the second straight day, but now we know that he is dealing with a concussion that will keep him out of action tonight. Johnny Boychuk, who missed the last game with a personal issue, will draw back in for Hamilton.

Hamilton (lower-body) returns to the Bruins lineup tonight.

Hamilton missed the last 10 games with what was believed to be a knee injury that he suffered on December 8 in Toronto. Hamilton has three goals and four assists with a plus-9 rating in 28 games this season. Kevan Miller is expected to be scratched with Hamilton returning.

Hamilton is skating with the Bruins for the first time since suffering a lower-body injury.

Hamilton has been out since December 8 and missed the last nine games. The Bruins are depleted on the blueline right now, so it is a good-sign to have Hamilton return to practice. He was expected to miss 2-4 weeks and it has almost been three, so he is likely to return to the lineup sometime in the next week.

Hamilton will be out two-to-four weeks with a lower-body injury.

The Bruins defenseman continue to drop like flies as now they are down to just five healthy defensemen. Hamilton play just 5:58 before leaving Sunday's game vs. the Maple Leafs. The Bruins are unsure if Johnny Boychuk will be available tonight. Unless someone is recalled soon, the Bruins will play with five D-men if Boychuk can't go.

Hamilton (lower-body) is being sent back to Boston to be re-evaluated after being injured in Sunday's win over the Maple Leafs.

Bruins head coach Claude Julien thinks that Hamilton will miss at least a week, "we'll see what the outcome is there but, right now, it doesn't seem like he's going to be playing with us probably this coming week. It doesn't look good as far as - the diagnosis on him was he's probably done for at least a week." The Bruins are hopeful that Johnny Boychuk will be available tomorrow at Calgary, if he is not then they will need to make a roster move.

Hamilton has left Sunday's game with an apparent lower-body injury and will not return.

Hamilton appeared to be injured following a collision with Maple Leafs defenseman Carl Gunnarson. The injuries continue to pile up for the Bruins who are already without defensemen Adam McQuaid and Johnny Boychuk and lost forwards Loui Eriksson and Chris Kelly last night. It has been a rough weekend for the Bruins in terms of health.
