With Mika Zibanejad dealing with an injury, Chytil comes up and could draw into the lineup on Tuesday. Chytil has had a nice start to the season, tying for the team lead with nine points (3G / 6A) in nine games with Hartford.

Chytil will miss Wednesday’s game vs. the Senators but head coach David Quinn said that he “may play before the season ends.” Brendan Smith will dress as a forward to replace Chytil tonight.
Chytil has no recorded a point and is a minus-1 in each of his last three games and will be replaced by the newly acquired Brendan Lemieux on Wednesday.
Chytil was a healthy scratch on Monday but will replace Jimmy Vesey on Wednesday. There is no word where Chytil will slot in but look for him to simply replace Vesey on the fourth line. Chytil has six goals and seven assists (13 points) in 37 games this year.
Chytil averaged just 6:20 TOI in his first two NHL games and served as a healthy scratch vs. the Canadiens on Sunday. The 18-year-old will head to Hartford to work on his game—Adam Cracknell will take his spot on the roster after being claimed off of waivers from Dallas.
