Andersen allowed four goals on 20 shots in the Ducks 5-2 loss to the Penguins. He has allowed a combined five goals on 50 shots (.900 SV%) in two games since returning from a next injury. Tonight he has a great chance to earn his 30th win of the season as he gets set to take on the Coyotes. The 25-year-old is 1-0-2 with a 1.27 GAA and .951 SV% against Arizona this season.

Andersen has missed the last eight games with an upper-body injury, but he is set to backup John Gibson tonight vs. the Kings. This leaves the door open for Andersen to start Sunday in Dallas. With Andersen back, the Ducks had to send Jason Labarbera back to Norfolk (AHL).
It seems likely that John Gibson will start on Friday, but Andersen will travel to Dallas. Andersen said that the pain is gone, it is just about getting back up to game speed. Monitor his status heading into the weekend.
