He has posted a 3.04 GAA and .907 SV% over the last seven games, but has managed to win five of them thanks to the Ducks near three goals per game in the wins. Tonight he faces the Wild for the second time, he made 27 saves in a 2-1 win back in October.

Andersen stopped 32 of 34 shots in the Ducks’ 3-2 win over the Bruins on Monday. With John Gibson still on IR and Jason LaBarbera out for 2-3 weeks, the job is all Andersen’s. Over the last two weeks, Andersen has won four of six with a 2.91 GAA and .911 SV%. Tonight he makes for a great start against a struggling Flyers squad.

Despite the bad outing, his backup Jason LaBarbera got injured, so Andersen gets a chance to bounce-back right away. After a 7-1-0 month of October, Andersen was 3-3-4 with a 3.00 GAA and .895 SV% in 11 starts in November.
