He has alternated wins and losses in his last six starts, so he is hoping that trend continues into Tuesday’s clash with the Penguins. It will be his first start vs. Pittsburgh of the year—he was 2-1-1 with a 2.88 GAA and .898 SV% against them a season ago.

It was the second straight game that 'King Henrik' has allowed six goals and he now sits with an ugly 5.41 GAA and .816 SV%. You might remember Lundqvist having a brutal start last season as well, so I wouldn't panic, especially tonight against a depleted Hurricanes team.

Lundqvist was pulled after he allowed six goals on 24 shots in Sunday's blowout loss to the Maple Leafs. 'King Henrik' did not look himself in Sunday's contest, but the Rangers will give him the chance to bounce-back tonight with the Isles in town. He is 8-1 with a 1.76 GAA and .944 SV% vs the Islanders in the last three seasons, so he is a must-start.

Lundqvist started his season off with a win, stopping 23 of 25 shots in a 3-2 victory over the Blues. It was an even game, but King Henrik outduelled Brain Elliott to earn his first W of the year. On Sunday he will get the call for the Rangers' home opener as they welcome the Maple Leafs to town. He was 16-14-4 with a 2.13 GAA and .926 SV% at home a season ago.

Lundqvist is one of the best goalies in the world and he was a big reason why the Rangers were able to get to the Stanley Cup Finals last season. New York is a much different looking team than they were a season ago, but one thing that is the same is 'King Henrik'. If you drafted him in fantasy; it was early and you are not going to bench him, even against a tough Blues team.
