Lundqvist allowed two goals on 33 shots in a 3-0 loss to the Jets on Tuesday. It was another strong individual performance from Lundqvist who had made over 50 saves in each of the Rangers’ previous two games. He’s got another busy night ahead of him in a terrible matchup against the Lightning.

Lundqvist allowed five goals on 55 shots in the Rangers win in Vancouver on Wednesday. It was a busy night for King Henrik, who snapped a five-game losing streak in the process. Lundqvist will be happy to see February go, as he went 3-8-1 with a 4.16 GAA and .887 SV% in 12 appearances. One of his wins came against the Flames, who he’ll face again tonight—he stopped 28 of 30 shots in a 4-3 win vs. Calgary on February 9th.


Lundqvist allowed seven goals on 37 shots in the Rangers loss to the Flyers last Sunday. Lundqvist has lost his last four starts with a 4.77 GAA and .859 SV%. With Alexandar Georgiev starting the last two games, Lundqvist should be well rest for tonight’s game against a Red Wings team on the tail-end of a back-to-back.

Lundqvist has gone 0-6-0 with a 3.94 GAA and .882 SV% in his last six starts and things won’t get any easier with the Bruins in town tonight. As hot as Boston has been, they’re on the tail-end of a back-to-back and Lundqvist is 2-0-0 with a 1.97 GAA and. 941 SV% in two starts vs. the Bruins this year.
