Fedotov has seen limited action this season but could return to the crease on Thursday against the Ottawa Senators. The 27-year-old Fedotov has an ugly 4.05 GAA and .851 SV% in four games this season (1-3-0) but was excellent in his previous outing, his first win of the season, saving 22 of 23 shots (.957 SV%) in a 2-1 overtime win over the Tampa Bay Lightning. The Flyers enter the action on Thursday as +156 road underdogs against a Senators club coming off a 3-0 victory over the Toronto Maple Leafs.

The Flyers will be forced to turn to the Fedotov tonight after Aleksei Kolosov was ruled out due to a lower-body injury. After suffering their fifth consecutive loss last night (0-4-1) at the hands of a 4-1 loss to the Washington Capitals, the Flyers will turn to Fedotov between the pipes in a rematch on Wednesday night. The Flyers will be desperate to return to the win column, but Fedotov's numbers thus far leave little to be hopeful for, showcasing an ugly 6.09 GAA and .818 SV% in two outings (0-2-0). The Flyers are 1-1-1 to start the season, with their only regulation loss coming when Fedotov was in the crease. Fedotov was the 188th overall pick of the Flyers in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft. The 27-year-old netminder made his NHL debut late in the 2023-24 season, posting a 4.95 GAA and .811 SV% across three appearances (0-1-1).

The Flyers will turn to Fedotov for his first NHL start on Friday against the Buffalo Sabres. The towering 6'7 netminder made his NHL debut earlier this week, saving 19 of 21 shots (.905 SV%), entering a 4-3 loss to the New York Islanders in relief. Head Coach John Tortorella praised Fedotov's performance after the contest. The Flyers enter action as +111 road underdogs.

Fedotov was a seventh-round pick of the Flyers in 2015 and finally joins them after 164 games in the KHL. Most recently, Fedotov was 21-22-1 with a 2.37 GAA and .914 SV% in 44 games with CSKA Moscow. Fedotov becomes the Flyers' new No.2 netminder and should see a couple of starts down the stretch.
